Chrysocolla balances and links the heart and throat chakra with the root chakra to increase vitality with strengthening, resilient feminine energy.

Cedar wood is associated with Healing and Protection.  It is ideal for clearing unwanted energies out of spaces.  This Cedar wood was naturally gathered from the Catskills in NY.  All designs are hand-burned.

The simple wood burning was intentional with this mobile.  The marbled cedar is stunning on its own with the red swirls, I wanted the burn to compliment the natural beauty of the wood.  I was living in Woodstock, NY when I made this piece.  I felt far from my home, San Francisco.  I longed to have easy access to the ocean and her empowering Goddess energies.  The simple dots that I burned remind me of a path, of ocean currents, something moving us along in our journey; a propelling life force.  

I used the star charms to remind us that we are indeed made of star dust, literally.  This world holds much mystery and we are here to explore and expand.  Burn bright, share your light.
