This piece is inspired by queerness. The pink triangle is a storied symbol in the LGBTQIA+ community dating back all the way to the holocaust with its use as a label for queers in the ghettos.

It is named for a late friend, who embodied this same queerness, this transness — this joy. She was a gorgeous person and the most anti-facist person I know. Literally punched Nazis before it became a meaningless ideological catchphrase that everyone says but never actually does.
