Through her eye you are dignified and worthy, just as she is dignified and worthy.

Kinnar is a dignified title for India's third gender community, tracing back to mythic half-bird beings in Hindu tradition, celestial musicians and singers who move between worlds. Kinnar communities form structured societies of their own, bound by kinship, spiritual roles, and lineage passed from guru to chela. In Pakistan, Khwaja Sira carries a similar dignity and reverence.
